《IT老外在中国》第15期：在中国做APP生意的犹太人

CNET科技资讯网 11月27日 北京消息（文/齐丰润）： 都说世界上最聪明的种族是犹太人，虽然总人口占比世界不到0.25%，但却囊括了27%的诺贝尔奖项，可以说是为了全人类的进步都做出了巨大的贡献。CNET这期就采了这么一位生活在以色列的犹太人创业者，他或许只是以色列创业大军中很普通的一位，但是他身上同样闪现了犹太人的商业智慧。

为中国用户引入国外App

Shlomo从以色列来到中国，成为了一个彻彻底底的创业者，他建立了一个名为AppInChina（www.AppinChina.co）的网站，利用这个平台将国外安卓系统下的App引入到中国市场，他们的Slogan——Bring your App to China就清晰明确的展示里他们的业务范围。

谈及为何要做这样的工作时，Shlomo展示出了他精明的头脑：“Google Play无法在中国使用，这使得中国的安卓手机出现了许多的应用商店，这对于许多国外的开发者来说是比较头痛的问题，因为他们没有能力来开发中国这个市场，所以我来做这件事情，帮助他们在中国推广他们的App产品。只要他们把应用给我们，我们就能够帮助他们在中国进行上线。”

Shlomo目前已经帮助了许多国外的优秀App产品在中国进行了上线，而这其中也不乏像微软这样的行业巨头，他们成功的帮助了Office Mobile和OneNote进入了360应用商店，而Shlomo谈起这些时，也颇有几分得意。

由于工作的原因，Shlomo对于国内的应用商店市场也比较了解，他觉得目前国内最大的应用商店是360应用商店，而紧随其后的就是腾讯旗下的应用商店。

中国创业环境起步晚但进步很快

在来到中国之前，Shlomo花了十年的时间在以色列研究创业，而想了解中国和以色列之间在创业上的不同之处也是他来到中国的重要目的之一。在Shlomo看来，以色列在创业方面起步非常早，而且创业环境也非常好，“在以色列，20年前就有许多投资人、包括政府会为创业者提供帮助，因此也出现了许多成功的项目。而中国虽然现在的创业环境非常好，但是这也是近几年的事情，起步还是比较晚的。”

而正是这样优秀的创业环境，以色列也吸引了相当多的中国投资者，在今年的11月2日，有150个中国投资者去以色列寻找项目，而这其中也包括阿里巴巴、百度这样的中国巨头，而随着这些投资人一同来到以色列的还有50亿的投资资本，这也体现出了以色列的创业环境对于投资者的强大吸引力。

Shlomo觉得中国在创业方面与以色列有很多不同：“中国的父母都不太支持孩子们创业，他们更希望孩子拥有一个稳定的工作。而在以色列这正好相反，父母对于孩子的创业想法都比较支持，因为以色列的创业环境非常好，就算失败了也不会有太大的问题。而且中国的年轻人都很关注马云、马化腾这样的人，所以中国的创业公司也有很多有趣的地方。”

比起GoPro 更爱Lily无人机

对于智能硬件方面，Shlomo比较关注那些非常酷炫的产品，比如GoPro他就非常喜欢。同时还有一款Lily无人机Shlomo也非常喜欢，其酷炫的操作方式非常吸引他，而且他也表示这款产品一发售就会去买一个试试，颇有几分极客的风范。

和AppInChina这个网站一样令Shlomo引以为豪的是，其在社交网站Meetup(地址：www.meetup.com/Lean-Starup-Beijing-China/)中也已经有了1000多人的加入，他们这个Group每周都会有三个线下活动，足够高的人气证明Shlomo的生意在中国正在快速发展。同时Startup Noodle（www.StartupNoodle.com）以及China Business cast（www.Chinabusinesscast.com）两个网站也是Shlomo倾注心血的骄傲之作。

He might just be a very common one among the Israeli entrepreneur armies, but the Jewish business brain is also embodied on his body.

Introducing App to Chinese users from abroad

After he came to China from Israel, Shlomo became an entrepreneur thoroughly. He established a website called AppInChina (www.AppinChina.co). Through this platform, the Android-based App overseas is introduced into Chinese market. Their Slogan – Bring your App to China – has clearly exhibited his business scope.

When he talks about why he does these works, Shlomo has demonstrated his sharp mind, “‘Google Play’ cannot work in China. This gives rise to many application stores of Android phones in China, which is a challenge for many foreign developers because they are unable to develop Chinese market, so I do this job so as to help them promote their App products in China. As long as they give us the applications, we can help them to put them online in China.”

So far, Shlomo has helped push many outstanding foreign App products online in China. Among the providers, there is no lack of such industrial giants like Microsoft. They have helped “Office Mobile” and “OneNote” enter into the 360 application store successfully. Shlomo was on the high ropes in some way when talking about these achievements.

For work reasons, Shlomo is also quite familiar with the domestic application store market. He feels that the current largest domestic application store is the 360 application store, followed by the application store under Tencent.

Chinese entrepreneurial environment is making rapid progress although it starts late

Before coming to China, Shlomo spent ten years in Israeli in investigating how to establish a business and it is also one of his important purposes to find out the differences between China and Israel in entrepreneurship. In Shlomo’s opinion, Israel started very early in entrepreneurship and its entrepreneurial environment is also quite well, “In Israel, many investors, including the government, would provide assistances to the entrepreneurs even twenty years ago, consequently many successful projects have also turned up. Comparatively, the entrepreneurial environment in China starts relatively late, It is only the case in recent years, although it is very good.”

And just because of the outstanding entrepreneurial environment, Israel has also attracted a considerable number of Chinese investors. On November 2 this year, 150 Chinese investors, including Chinese giants “Alibaba” and “Baidu”, presented themselves in Israel seeking projects, and what was taken to Israel along with these investors was 5 billion investment capitals. This has also reflected the strong attraction of Israeli entrepreneurial environment to the investors.

Shlomo feels there are many difference between China and Israel in entrepreneurship, “Chinese parents would not support their kids to be an entrepreneur. They wish that their children could have a stable job. This is a different case in Israel. Israel parents, however, would be more supportive for the entrepreneurship idea of their children because it would not be a problem even if you fail in establishing a business in Israel for having a good entrepreneurial environment. Nevertheless, young Chinese are concerned much about the people like Ma Yun and Ma Huateng, so Chinese entrepreneurial companies also have many interesting places.”

Prefer Lily UAV to GoPro

About the smart hardware, Shlomo pays much attention to quite cool products, for example, GoPro; in addition, a kind of product, Lily UAV, is also his favorite. Its cool operation mode impressed him greatly. He also said that he would buy one once the product comes into market, showing the style of geeks quite a bit.

What also prides Shlomo as the website “AppInChina” is that he also has attracted more than 1,000 members at Meetup (www.meetup.com/Lean-Starup-Beijing-China/), a social contact website. The group at this website will hold three offline activities every week. Its high number of attendees is an evidence that Shlomo’s business is making a rapid progress in China.At the same time Startup Noodle(www.StartupNoodle.com) and the China Business cast two website (www.Chinabusinesscast.com), but also the pride of Shlomo pour into work.
